The Brief Autobiography
I am a Postgraduate Statistics student with a history of ninja rumours, long hair and unintentionally ignited thermistors.
Contrary to popular belief, I did not pop into existence on the back of the X5 Bus from Hartlepool. In actual fact I come from the City of Sunderland - A city that was voted the 4th least attractive city for tourists thanks to having "nothing to offer with dislikeable local accents".
It is a well known fact that my favourite drink is milk. Whole milk to be specific. My milk consumption rates have been described as "astronomical" in the past, and I often find myself in the nearby Asda having to replenish our milk supplies at regular intervals. I will not drink skimmed milk (watery mess), goats milk (tastes weird) or soya milk (just plain wrong). I also don't like tea or coffee, much to the disgust of some friends.
Over the past 5 years, developing websites has become a main interest. With a fair amount of help, I designed and made the MathSoc website. I'm quite pleased with it considering it was my first attempt at a website. I'm no longer the website manager for the society, but I make sure it's kept up-to-date and running smoothly.
