Photography is one of my hobbies. I enjoy the challenge of finding a good photo to take, then working the camera to get the picture just as I want it. In most of my photos, I don't perform photo editing except for minor cropping, brightness and contrast adjustments. That means my work is done in the field and I have to get the photo right before it leaves the camera.

I generally use two cameras at the moment: A Panasonic Lumix TZ7 for everyday use and a Canon EOS 60D (with EF-S 15-85mm F3.5-5.6 IS USM and EF 50mm F1.8 II lenses, along with a Speedlite 430EX II flashgun). A recent purchase was a Canon EOS 33 camera (with EF 28-90mm F4-5.6 lens) to take me back to my 35mm film SLR days.

Other cameras I have include a Canon EOS 450D, Canon EOS 3000 and a Fujifilm Finepix S5600. Since I don't use these much nowadays, I have lent these to my sister.

For me, photography is a casual hobby. I'm not a professional - I've never used this as a source of income. I do consider requests for photographing events and people, and you can send an enquiry by emailing me.
